In the middle of the village, there once stood an Árpad Age church atop a small rock berm near to the Koós-Esterházy Castle. A Roman Catholic church was built in its place in 1770. The Renaissance wrought iron knocker on the gate dates from the 16th century. The main altar and side altars of are from the 18th century. Contrary to tradition, the statues from Szád Castle chapel were not destroyed here.

The interior of the castle itself, now the property of the municipality, has been redesigned and used as a hotel.
