Funded Projects
The Aggtelek National Park Directorate (ANPI) is a separate legal entity with independent management and budgetary authority over appropriations; and with full powers and responsibilities as defined by law. The Directorate is under the direction of the Ministry of Rural Development, the national body responsible for the management of protected natural areas. ANPI maintains conservation areas and manages natural assets. ANPI’s park rangers are authorised to issue fines for first degree misdemeanours in the line of duty.
Aggtelek National Park has won approval for several projects proposals submitted for to the EU and national agencies. Some of these projects are still in progress. A complete list of these projects can be viewed in a downloadable Word document here.
