The wildlife of Aggtelek National Park includes a large number of wild boars. Our colleague Ádám Szabó caught these scenes using camera traps.
Wild boars do not generally threaten. With their advanced hearing, the animals tend to avoid human contact. However, if you encounter one, do not approach, and leave the scene quietly. A protective mother may be particularly dangerous when with its young.

Two former Eszterházy estate granary buildings, one in Slovakia and one in Hungary, were renovated at a cost of 2 million Euro (2.6 million USD) by the Hungarian Aggtelek National Park and the Slovakian ALMA-Centre for the Restoration and Protection of Folk Architecture and Traditions
