Instead of caves, national parks await visitors to open-air venues
Announced by the Ministry of Agriculture in March of this year, "Let's Cave!" The purpose of the campaign is to introduce and promote the special caves of our country. During the month, the relevant National Park Directorates awaited visitors with special cave programs and significant discounts.
The campaign's cave show sites attract tens of thousands of visitors this month, so in order to reduce the risk of a mass disease that threatens the safety of life and property, the National Park Directorates will temporarily suspend the announced programs and visit for later. The measure covers 40 tourist caves nationwide. Almost half of the registered visitors to the National Park Directorates go to cave showrooms or participate in such guides and programs. More than half a million registered visitors are interested in our caves every year.
Instead of closed locations, free-access nature trails and hiking trails in the national parks continue to await hikers.
