Attila Kovács 1960-2016
Attila Kovacs, Head of the Secretariat at Aggtelek National Park died with dignity after serious illness on September 12, 2016. He was hospitalized with seemingly mild complaints a few weeks ago, but his condition quickly worsened. We were incredulous when we received the news on Monday morning of his painfully quick and silent departure. Attila dedicated his entire life to Hungarian public administration. He joined the Aggtelek National Park Directorate at the end of 2012 and performed his conscientiously, and with dedication.
Attila was a modest man, quiet but always smiling, and always greeted everyone warmly. He had a rich and eventful life.
The funeral is being arranged by his family.
