What could be a more perfect concert venue in the hottest time of summer than a cool dripstone cave away from the daily noise, where light and sound are reflected differently.
The Baradla Cave system is a unique Hungarian natural treasure and also a World Heritage Site. Through a fairytale land of dripstones, the winding path eventually leads to a natural amphitheatre created millions of years ago.
Csilla Szentpéteri has been planning to hold a concert in this magical underground world for many years. Passionate melodies and refreshing rhythms are even more powerful here in this mystically lit unique environment.
Her music covers several eras and styles. The melodies of several centuries are resurrected and reinterpreted, combining vibrant jazz, the sadness of the blues, and bossa nova.
With the help of excellent musicians, the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Piazzolla come to life again. These compositions can also be found on Csilla Szentpéteri’s new album.
Because of the unique features of the hall, first category tickets are available only in limited numbers. Tickets pre-booked in July are available at a discounted price.
