The Slovak Karst Cycling Club (Gömörhorka) together with Aggtelek National Park are hosting a cross-border bicycle tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of the joint award of World Heritage status to the Aggtelek and Slovak karst.
Date and Time: July 25, 9:00
Meeting Point: 8:30, courtyard of the Kövirózsa Panzió in Gömörhorka (SK); finish around 15:00 at the same place
Distance and Duration: 80km, 6 hours
Route: Gömörhorka – Gombaszög – Szilice – Jablonca – SK/HU border – Vidomájpuszta - Szalamandra-ház – Ménes-völgy – Patkós-völgy – Szelcepuszta – Szelce-völgy – Jósvafő – Kecső-völgy – SK/HU border– Kecső – Domica – Hosszúszó – Gömörhorka
Registration: 5 Euro or 1500 HUF, includes refreshments at the tour mid-point at the Szalamandra House and at the end in Gömörhorka at their village day celebration. Registration is required by July 22nd.
Bike Transport: Aggtelek National Park can transport you and your bicycle to Gömörhorka and back to Aggtelek at the end for 500 HUF/person with bike/direction
