About the Tour
Distance: 9.2 km (a little over 5.5 miles)
Duration: 6-7 hours
The tour departs from the Aggtelek Ticket Office and Cave Entrance. The route closely follows the Long Tour for the first 6.7 km, then leads into one of the most extraordinary side passages of the system, the 1250 m Radish Branch. The 9.2 km Special Tour lasts for 6-7 hours. Along one of the Baradla Cave’s longest side passages, visitors will encounter the Zombor Hole, the Big and Little Sly Sinkholes and the Radish Branch after which it rejoins the main tunnel. Some of the richly ornamented formations, including the active stream area, can be visited with prior registration. Including the Radish Branch on your tour, which contains the eponymous radish-shaped stalactites in the Hall of Wonders, increases the length of the tour by about 2 hours.

Important Imformations
Tickets can be purchased at the Baradla Cave Aggtelek Entrance.
The average temperature in the cave is +10˚C/50˚F, and many sections are wet, slippery and muddy. Therefore, appropriately warm clothing and footwear is recommended!
Please bring your own battery-operated cordless torches (flashlights). For groups, lights are provided at no expense.
The tour departs from the Aggtelek entrance and terminates at the Jósvafő Ticket Office. The price of the ticket includes transportation by the Park back to the Aggtelek starting point.
Participants on this tour must be at least 14 years old!
The tour is available the entire year (depending on the weather, for example it may not be possible if there is flooding). Advanced bookings must be made in writing (email is fine) at least 2 weeks prior. Moreover, a minimum of 5 people (maximum 14) is necessary before a tour may set out.

From the direction of Aggtelek or Trizs, turn left at the petrol (gas) station (turn right from the direction of Jósvafő) After about 500 m you will spot a 50 m high cliff face, at the base of which is located the ticket office and cave entrance (Yellow mark on the map). Parking is on the left.
