Groups of nursery, kindergarten and school children (up until the approximate age of 10) are invited on our special Mikulás (Santa) Tour in the Baradla Cave. The tour follows the Jósvafő short tour route, but includes a remarkable meeting with Mikulás from whom every child will receive a gift bag.
Our tour starts from the Rudapithecus Visitor Centre before proceeding to former mining activity locations such as Andrássy 2, Andrássy 1, Andrássy 3. and Polyánka. We will provide field mineralogical knowledge and information on mining history during the hike. Our route will also pass through the town and the Regional Mining History Museum.
As part of National Geotop Day, explore the geological treasures of the Zemplén. These formations attest to the active volcanism of the area millions of years ago. The tour is lead by a professional geologist.

Jointly organised by Aggtelek National Park and the local chapter of the Hungarian Ornithological Society (MME). Ringing demonstration and bird watching.
