Tour to the Szád Castle on the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Day
460 metres above the village of Szögliget towers the remains of the 13th c. Szád Castle. The spectacular view, interesting history and unusual architectural solutions make a hike to Szádvár worthwhile. Different types of forests, karst meadows and springs characterise the surrounding environment. Viktor Gál, archeologist at Miskolc's Herman Ottó Museum will help guide the tour.
